"We decided to eat here for lunch and we are so glad we made that choice although it was a very quiet day and we were the only ones in the restaurant. We had wonderful service and the food was excellent. My wife had the beans with chorizo and was very excellent but very filling. I had the Taberna casserole which is Clams, shrimp and mushrooms. It was awesome and again very filling. We finished up with rice, pudding and had local cider with lunch. A really filling meal great service and a lot of value for the money we spent."

"We had a lunch in this restu when we visited Cudillero on 26th of July 2022. Staff are nice, very attentive and bubbly. We actually ask his help on what to eat. We had our table before 1400h (reason I mentioned the time is because it can be crowded after 1400h or you will end up waiting for the table to be available if you don't have reservation) Cudillero is touristic so expect tourist, especially in summer. We ate here on Tuesday. As a general rule, it's a good day to eat seafoods if you fancy (psst, fishermen rest on Sunday so what do you expect on Monday? ) Food, first plate pastel de cabracho for second plate we choose the Parillada de marisco. It was great, delicious, cook accordingly and most of all fresh We are satisfied and happy Keep up the good work team Taberna del Puerto!"

"Exceptional spot. The cider is delicious and local, and the crab “buey de mar” was some of the best I’ve had—cooked perfectly—from a guy who loves crab. Super friendly and attentive service too."

"Lovely spot right at the edge of the water in Cudillero. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The food was outstanding and reasonably priced. Also, the portions were more reasonable that other places where they give you way too much food."

"I discovered the restaurant again thanks to reviews on Google. It is the last restaurant towards the harbor with a sunset view. The service is very nice and to speak English is no problem. I ordered the seafood soup and than Monkfish, which some fisherman brought fresh. The food here is absolutely superb. Due to the great competition in the place, it is not possible otherwise. Paying by card is not a problem. Only parking is far in high season. The restaurant is worth a visit."
